Mike Santana vs. Nic Nemeth For TNA World Championship Made Official For Slammiversary 2026

The World Title match is locked in for the pay-per-view.
The opening match of the 6/11 TNA Thursday Night iMPACT was Mike Santana defending the TNA World Championship against Eric Young.
Santana was able to secure the win over Young after the returning Ricky Sosa distracted Young. Post-match, Nic Nemeth came out with his Call Your Shot Gauntlet trophy and his ring gear on. Going into the show, Nemeth stated that he would be calling his shot for a World Title match at Slammiversary on June 28th.
Nemeth helped Santana to his feet and decided to stick to his word. He did not call his shot on Santana then, but made it official that he will challenge for the World Title at the upcoming pay-per-view.
