Miyu Yamashita Wants To Face Will Ospreay In TJPW, Ospreay Says He’s Game

Will Ospreay responds to Miyu Yamashita’s comments.

There’s an interview with Miyu Yamashita that was conducted by Nikkan Sports. She was asked about Will Ospreay, who helps book the Pro-Wrestling: EVE promotion.

Yamashita is a regular at EVE and is also the promotion’s International Champion. Yamashita shared that she’s talked to Ospreay about the idea of them facing each other, but she wants the match to happen in her home promotion of Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling.

“He was the one who booked my very first tour in the U.K., so he’s a huge figure to me. He’s now in charge of the creative side of EVE, and I’m very grateful for the opportunities he’s given me. I’ve actually talked with (Will) Ospreay about how it would be great to face him someday.” Yamashita continued, “If I were to do it, I’d personally like to do it in the Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling ring. For example, if I were given the chance to do it in AEW, that would obviously be a big deal, but I think doing it in Tokyo Women’s would be the most exciting.” Yamashita added, “I actually see him often at EVE shows, and he sometimes teases me like, ‘When are we going to fight?’ Ospreay is also very busy, so I’d like to do it when the timing is right, and when we do, I want to do it in Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling.”

Ospreay caught wind of Yamashita’s comments and replied:
