MJF: If You Like AEW More Than WWE, It Doesn’t Mean You Have To Shit On WWE

MJF speaks on tribalism.
The war online between WWE fans and AEW fans will likely never end, but take it from the One True Champion in AEW: You don’t have to tear down one promotion to be a fan of the other.
“If you like AEW more than WWE, and there are a lot of people that feel that way, that doesn’t mean you have to shit on WWE. You don’t need to make thinkpieces online about why WWE sucks. Make thinkpieces about why AEW is better. Whatever those logical reasons are. Whether it’s because you get more bang for buck on pay-per-views or because our matches are better or because our rivalries are better or because MJF is better looking than any top guy in any promotion. There are so many different things, but that doesn’t mean you have to attack the other side. Just put your side over,” MJF told Richard Deitsch on the Sports Media Podcast.
MJF has been consistent with his message over the years, praising the likes of Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, Nick Khan, and others in WWE for their talent or business acumen.
MJF is set to compete in the Casino Gauntlet at AEW All In, where and Andrade El Idolo will be number one and two in the match.
