Ludi Lin, who plays Kiu Kang in the newest pair of Mortal Kombat movies, has responded to shots fired by Cody Rhodes.
Earlier this year, Mortal Kombat 2 would release in theatres, with the Street Fighter movie scheduled to come out later this year, which will feature WWE’s Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes as part of the cast as Akuma and Guile respectively. The casts of the two movies have gone back and forth, with Cody even saying that the Street Fighter cast would ‘dog walk’ the Mortal Kombat cast.
In a new interview with Monopoly Events, Liu Kang’s actor Ludi Lin would respond to Cody’s comments.
“Well, gosh, man. Look, I’m not a dog walker. We’re not dog walkers. Look, we’re martial artists and first and foremost, we’re actors. I am so overwhelmed by how the fans received the second movie. Now it just remains to be seen what Street Fighter can do. So I’m excited to see their movie and see what they can prove. So take your words onto the screen and we’ll find out.”
Lin would then be asked about a potential crossover in WWE, with the actor noting that maybe they could do one to find out for real.
“Maybe we could do a crossover and then we’ll find out for real.”
