Motor City Machine Guns React To WWE Release, Tease Future Plans

The latest from Motor City Machine Guns.
Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) were released from WWE in April 2026. They had been with the company since October 2024. During their run, they captured the WWE Tag Team Championship and won the belts in their second match.
Shelley and Sabin released a parody video on YouTube in which they did the five stages of grief after leaving WWE.
They then went through a list of ‘offers’ they had from the following promotions:
- FMW
- CyberFight
- Wrestle & Romance
- IWA Mid-South
At the end of the video, there was a fifth offer which glowed when M.C.M.G. looked at it. Sabin got up on the table and celebrated.
Fightful Select’s write-up about the future of Shelley and Sabin can be read here.
