Nick Comoroto States That WWE Had Him On ‘To Be Signed’ List For Two Years Before Signing Him

Nick Comoroto was signed to a WWE developmental deal.
From February 2019 until April 2020, Nick Comoroto was under contract to WWE. He wrestled at NXT house shows but never made his television debut.
Present day, Comoroto is signed to AEW/ROH and first started appearing for the company following his release from WWE.
While doing a virtual signing with Captain’s Corner, Comoroto shared that before he was signed to WWE, the company had him on a ‘to be signed’ list.
“He normally scouts athletes,” Comoroto said about Gerald Brisco. “He found out about my background. I did really good in front of him so he put me in for a tryout. He put me with a couple others… I got put on a ‘to be signed’ list, and I was on that to be signed list for about two and a half years before they finally signed me but, without Gerry Brisco, I don’t think I would have ever got that kind of opportunity.”
Comoroto was featured on the August 27th episode of ROH on HonorClub in a six-man tag team match against The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz & Myron Reed).
