Orange Cassidy On Not Moving During Lio Rush’s Entrance: It Was My First Gut Instinct

Orange Cassidy is doing his best.

On the June 3 episode of AEW Dynamite, Orange Cassidy and The Conglomeration went viral after they froze in place during Lio Rush’s entrance. This ended up working out for the faction, as Rush breezed past them and entered the ring.

Speaking with TMZ Sports Inside The Ring for a new interview, Cassidy admitted that he was winging it during that moment.

“I don’t know if it’s true or not, I just did it. I think I maybe thought of Jurassic Park or something. I was like — that sounds like the first, like that’s your go-to. Let’s say you’re ghost-hunting. Does anybody ghost hunt? I don’t know. But if you see a ghost, you freeze because if I don’t move — it was just my first gut instinct, it was to not move. I don’t even know if he can see me if we don’t move but so far so good, I guess.”

Cassidy was also asked if he is afraid of Lio Rush.

“Yes, I think we all should be. I’ve never seen this before. He just shows up whenever. The problem is I pride myself on being able to identify and really sus out people I think. I can’t read anything on this person, I’ll say.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Cassidy admitted that Matt Sydal came up with the idea for his new shirt. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
