Orange Cassidy recalls how he began to wrestle with his hands in his pockets and the origins of his wrestling career.
One of the staples of Cassidy’s presentation is his ability to wrestle with his hands in his jean pockets, utilizing a range of different offensive maneuvers while looking as relaxed as ever.
While speaking to WKBN in a new interview, Orange Cassidy spoke about how he began his career as a pro wrestler.
“I was always into it. I tried it one day and thought, ‘I guess I could do this.’ I just never stopped.”
Cassidy recalls making it onto a national show and how Chuck Taylor helped play his part in that coming to pass.
“It took a really long time. I was able to figure out who I am right now. I started traveling around the whole country until AEW came about. I jumped in the car with my friend, Chuck Taylor, who I was living with at the time, and decided that I wanted to get on this national show, and here I am.”
Orange also noted the origins of wrestling with his hands in his pockets.
“Somebody was messing around in the ring with me. I just put my hands in my pockets and said, ‘Go ahead. Hit me. It worked out pretty well.”
Elsewhere in another recent interview, Orange spoke further about wrestling with his hands in his pockets. You can read more about that here.
