Throughout his career, The Sandman was always known for wearing an iconic fit to the ring before he faced off with his opponent.
In the mid-90s, the ‘Hardcore Icon’ wore Shawn Kemp’s signature shoes to the ring on multiple occasions. On the latest episode of Complex Sneaker Shopping, Paul Heyman took his praise of Sandman to the next level.
“The Sandman was a fashion icon to the extreme.”
Heyman also joked that Sandman would be a much better guest for Complex’s sneaker show.
“I think he’d be a far better guest than I am.”
