A big win for Queen Aminata.
Closing out the October 28th AEW Fright Night Dynamite was Persephone defending the TBS Championship against Queen Aminata.
The conclusion of the bout saw Aminata put Persephone away with the ‘Off With Her Head’ knee/leg strike to become the new TBS Champion. Aminata took to social media afterward to comment on the victory:
“I still can’t believe this but I am your NEW TBS CHAMPION……The one and only is your brand new TBS champion….. omg 😱😱😱😱😱”
She then reacted to the clip of members of the AEW women’s roster coming out to celebrate with her in the ring:
“Women empowerment…. I love all my @AEW Women”
