REPORT: Mara Sadè Chose To Work TNA Tapings To Finish Storylines Although She Was Not Contracted To Do So
The future of Mara Sadè.
TNA Wrestling confirmed that Mara Sadè and Jody Threat have departed the promotion. Fightful Select was first to report the news that Sadè’s contract with TNA had expired.
PWInsider provided additional details about Sadè’s exit. She worked the promotion’s television tapings in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to finish out her storylines. She also had a match in the Knockouts Television Championship tournament against Heather by Elegance that will air on the 8/6 Thursday Night iMPACT.
Sadè was not under contract, so she did not have to be there, but she made the decision to be present. PWInsider noted that TNA was very happy with how Sadè handled herself, and they were thankful.
Fightful Select reported that Sadè has been in contact with multiple companies.
PWInsider noted that WWE sources confirmed that there has been interest in bringing Sadè back. The belief among multiple TNA talents is that Sadè is headed to All Elite Wrestling.
