Ricky Saints Addresses ‘Don’t Talk To Me About An Edge’ Line On WWE Raw, Says He Didn’t Realize What He Said Until Later On

The ‘edge’ part of the line drew attention on social media.

Ricky Saints competed in the 2026 King of the Ring tournament, and his first-round match took place on WWE Monday Night Raw. He squared off against Je’Von Evans, Seth Rollins, and Talla Tonga. Evans emerged victorious from the bout by pinning Saints.

Before the match, Saints was interviewed on stage by Byron Saxton and was asked if he feels he has an edge. Saints responded by saying don’t talk to him about an edge.

Saints was asked about the line during his appearance on Complex Graps and stated that he did not realize what he said until afterward.

“You know what’s so funny? I didn’t realize that at the time that it was — no one will believe me so what’s the point in even trying to defend myself but, I just thought that was funny that I was like, wow, I didn’t even think of that. That is crazy…”

While Saints was still with All Elite Wrestling, he had an in-ring interaction with Adam Copeland a.k.a. Edge on Collision, where the two took multiple verbal jabs at one another. Saints previously addressed that in 2024, and his comments can be read here.
