Romeo Malverde Returns To The Ring For First Match Since WWE Exit

Romeo Malverde (formerly known as Santos Escobar) has returned to the ring for his first match since March of this year.

Back in April of this year, Malverde was released from his contract with WWE, and soon after suffered a tricep injury in March and underwent surgery, but underwent a second surgery on an ulnar nerve in April. This has kept him out of action, with his last match being for AAA on March 14th, and officially became a free agent back in July.

On September 27th, Romeo Malverde teamed with Blue Demon Jr. against Magno & Steven Juarez on the 5th International Lucha Libre Festival in Ciudad Juarez, marking his first match since his exit from WWE.
