Rossy Ogawa Speaks About Utami Hayashishita Returning To STARDOM Following Marigold Exit

Rossy Ogawa offers his thoughts about Utami’s return to STARDOM.

It was in 2024 that Rossy Ogawa launched his Dream Star Fighting Marigold promotion. Multiple talents from STARDOM opted to leave the promotion to be part of Marigold. One of those names is Utami Hayashishita.

Fast forward to May 2026, Hayashishita had her final match for Marigold, and days later, she returned to STARDOM.

Rossy Ogawa spoke to reporters (via Tokyo Sports) after Marigold’s May 28th show and said the following about Hayashishita’s return to STARDOM:

“I knew she was going. Well, that’s exactly what happened. She should go where she wants to go and do what she wants to do. 

Hayshishita may end up proving that (returning to STARDOM) was the right choice, but I have to make Utami Hayashishita feel frustrated…”

Hayashishita is the second-ever Marigold World Champion. She held the belt for nearly 300 days.
