Sammy Guevara comments on when fans can expect to have him back on AEW television regularly, noting that it is not his call.

Guevara has been largely off AEW screens this year, having only competed in two matches on AEW programming so far, first, facing off with Bandido in singles action in January with an AEW World Title challenge also taking place in May.

While speaking to MuscleManMalcolm in a new interview, Sammy Guevara spoke about when fans can expect to see him back on AEW television.

“Yeah, no, honestly, man, you know, that’s obviously not my call, but, like, whatever they do decide to call, like, I think the last time I was on AEW was when I wrestled Darby for the world title. I was given, what, a couple hours notice, and I just tried to do the best that I could, you know? So anytime I go out there, I try to give you a show like you’ve never seen before, because that’s what I do. I’m Sammy Guevara, the Spanish God. You know, I think I’m the best, so, yeah.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Guevara reflected on competing in the first ever match on AEW Dynamite. You can read more about that here.
