Samoa Joe Says His Retirement Timeline ‘Is Still Not Quite Nailed Down’, Wants To Leave As Many Good Memories As He Can

Samoa Joe says his retirement timeline is ‘not quite nailed down’ and that he has goals to create many good memories for fans.

Joe has already had a lengthy career in the world of professional wrestling, having competed in TNA, Ring Of Honor, All Elite Wrestling and WWE, currently being a roster member of AEW. While he is a long time veteran, he currently does not have a retirement time frame locked down.

While speaking to SHAK Wrestling in a new interview, Samoa Joe spoke about retirement, noting that he doesn’t have a timeline nailed down.

“I mean, really, just putting on meaningful, fun matches for the fans. I think trying to consistently give people something to tune in for and have a good time with. Listen, what my time frame is (for retirement) kind of still not quite nailed down, but I will say this. I want to leave as many good memories as I can while I have the opportunity, and I think that’s just kind of the best way to approach things right now.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Joe spoke about Anthony Bowens’ growth as a performer. You can read more about that here.
