Scarlett Bordeaux comments on being the most viewed person on AAA’s YouTube channel with over 35 million views.

Scarlett is no stranger to featuring in multiple different promotions over the years, including in the likes of TNA, AAA and WWE. Prior to joining WWE, she would be most known for her ‘Smoke Show’ character, which still has the most viewed video on AAA’s YouTube channel, sitting at over 35 million views.

While speaking to Fightful’s In The Weeds in a new interview, Scarlett Bordeaux spoke about being the most viewed person in AAA.

“I think one of my favorite parts about that too, they will still air that match on television. I won’t say who, but let’s just say it’s a very top WWE star once messaged me and they were like, ‘why am I seeing your ass on the airport TV?’ This was like years later, and then I will say another producer, I’ll say Nora. So, Molly Holly did also message me, ‘Hey, I see your match airing.’ So they still air that on television when they’re traveling to Latin America, which is hilarious. But when I was a heel, I would joke with Kross, like, ‘I’m the greatest luchador in the entire world, 35 million views just to piss people off.’ But that was great, and I had a lot of matches like that and promos. I think we’re still getting very top hits, even when I was in Impact. So I think that sort of viewership also led me to getting the WWE opportunity. That’s one thing I would have hoped for if I would have been able to do the Smoke Show character, because I feel like everyone loved it. I loved it. So that’s something one day I would like to go back to because I thought that was very well written, and the two people I credit to helping create that character was Sonjay Dutt and Jimmy Jacobs. So I give them credit for that too.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Scarlett spoke about Vince McMahon’s original pitch for a new look for Killer Kross in 2021. You can read more about that here.
