Seth Rollins: In My Opinion, I Haven’t Properly Main Evented WrestleMania

Seth Rollins still wants to headline WrestleMania.
Rollins has closed a WrestleMania event on three separate occasions. Back in 2015, Rollins cashed in his Money In The Bank briefcase during the WrestleMania 31 main event bout between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar.
Then, at WrestleMania 40, Rollins teamed with Cody Rhodes to face Roman Reigns and The Rock to close out the first night of the show. The next year, Rollins faced CM Punk and Roman Reigns to close out the first night of WrestleMania 41.
During a new episode of WWE Unreal, Rollins noted that he doesn’t really feel like he has properly headlined WrestleMania yet. These comments were made after Rollins suffered a shoulder injury in October 2025.
“In my opinion, I haven’t properly main evented WrestleMania. A couple of night ones and the cash-in, yada yada. But for me, being on the marquee and headlining night two, having that is something I’ve always wanted. I do feel like [WrestleMania 42] was probably the year for it. To know that it’s probably out the window, it’s really difficult to wrap my head around.”
On the July 20 episode of WWE Raw, Solo Sikoa offered to help Seth Rollins at SummerSlam. Read more about that by clicking here.
