Shiloh Hill Speaks About Facial Fracture He Suffered: “I Blew Out The Bottom Of My Maxillary Sinus”

Details about Shiloh Hill’s injury.

During the summer of 2026, Shiloh Hill had to step away from in-ring competition due to a facial fracture. It was soon revealed that he suffered a break in his upper jawbone.

While guest-appearing on Busted Open After Dark, Hill said he blew out the bottom of his maxillary sinus. He was supposed to be in Minneapolis, Minnesota, for WWE SummerSlam to do meet-and-greets, but he was not able to fly.

“Funny enough, I didn’t even know I was hurt. I blew my nose and my face filled with air, and I thought I ate something weird or whatever but I blew out the bottom of my maxillary sinus. So when I blew my nose, all the air came out into my face instead of going out my nose, and I got all the way home. It was literally in the shower at home when it happened. I texted the trainer like, ‘Dawg, I need to take Benadryl or something?’ Because my whole face puffed up, and he was like, ‘Nah, you gotta come in tomorrow. That usually means you broke a bone.’ I was like, ‘Ah!’” He continued, “Now it’s laughable. There was a minute when they first discovered it, that I’m like, ‘Yeah, you might have to put a plate in it,’ all this stuff. ‘We really don’t know what the timeline’s gonna be…’ Oh, and I couldn’t fly. I was supposed to go to SummerSlam for some meet and greets but they wouldn’t let me get on the plane because they were like, ‘Your face could physically pop with the pressure’ because there was so much air in my face.” Hill added, “I think what did it is I had a cold, and I was sniffing a bunch, and I think I might have sucked the air back into the sinus — like out of my face — because the doctor was like, ‘This is the fastest I’ve ever seen based off the MRI and where you’re at. Like, the air leave your body.’ Now it’s laughable but yeah, for a minute I was like, ‘Man, I might be out,’ but fortunately, I don’t have to do that.”

Hill has been wrestling at NXT house shows, and on the 10/6 NXT on The CW, he’ll be squaring off against NARAKU.
