Skadi Comments On Facing Olympia In 2026 CMLL Amazonas Universal Championship Tournament Finals
Skadi comments on her upcoming match against Olympia.
The wrestler is currently scheduled to face Olympia in the finals of the 2026 CMLL Amazonas Universal Championship tournament.
Speaking with Fightful’s Luis Pulido, she spoke about this matchup.
“I’m happy to be a finalist again; it reflects my work throughout the year. I’m excited because it’s going to be a great fight. Olympia is a great wrestler. She’s powerful and eager to build on all the victories she’s had this year, but Skadi has been grinding away for a long time. So, this Friday, I’m sure that matchup is going to be explosive. I’m excited, and you definitely can’t miss it.”
Skadi was the finalist in the 2025 CMLL Amazonas Universal Championship tournament, where she was defeated by India Sioux. During the interview, she also spoke about wanting to get her revenge from last year’s loss.
“Well, to be honest, I’ve learned a great deal from all my defeats. Most of my career has been marked by quite a few losses, more so than by wins, but each one has taught me something new. Things always happen for a reason; everything has to happen at the right time. I learned from last year, but at the time I was also happy because it was one of the best matches on the card. She may have taken the victory, but this year is my rematch. This year I’m going for that universal championship. Honestly, at first I couldn’t believe everything that’s happened since last year and the four years I’ve been in the Grand Prix. This is my rematch, and this year I will be crowned universal champion.”
