Speedball Mike Bailey: Ilja Dragunov Is Going To Do Amazing And I’m Very Excited To See Where This Goes

Speedball Mike Bailey reflects on their match with Ilja Dragunov, noting that they are very excited to see what comes next for Ilja.

On the October 21st edition of AEW Dynamite, Ilja would make his All Elite Wrestling debut, facing off with Speedball in the main event of the program. Despite Bailey’s emphatic attempts to put a damper on Ilja’s in ring debut with the company, Dragunov would capture the victory in his AEW in ring debut.

While speaking in their latest vlog, Speedball Mike Bailey reflected on the match with Dragunov, noting that Ilja is ‘going to do amazing’ in AEW.

“I have been thinking a lot about Wednesday. Good match. You know, good times. I got exactly what I wanted, which is yet another one of the world’s best wrestlers. Finally, where the best wrestle. Shout out to Ilja. He fucking brought it. He’s going to do amazing, and I’m very excited to see where this goes in the next couple months, and as for myself, I am where I usually am, you know? I feel like great performances aren’t lost on the AEW audience, and it’s not because I don’t win a match that people don’t notice that I come close to winning, that I put on a great performance, that I go out there and give it my all with some of the world’s best wrestlers. But man, it gets tiring, you know and I am still on my quest for singles gold. Very exciting things are happening right now.”

In Speedball’s vlog from last week, they spoke about Will Ospreay having no half measures. You can read more about that here.
