‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey Wins Ladder Match At Redemption PPV, Earns AEW International Title Shot

‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey earned his shot.

Starting the main card of All Elite Wrestling’s Redemption pay-per-view was a six-way Ladder match for a shot at the AEW International Championship. Competing in the match were the following names:

• Jack Perry
• The Beast Mortos
• Komander
• ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey
• Nick Wayne
• El Clon

There was a spot when three different wrestlers were put through tables. The last was Nick Wayne, as Komander walked the top rope and springboarded onto Wayne.

Another match highlight saw Jack Perry hit a Canadian Destroyer onto Wayne off the top of a ladder, and they landed on top of another ladder.

The match concluded with Bailey propping Mortos onto a ladder, climbing to the top rope and then performing the ‘Ultima Weapon.’ Bailey, in his home province of Quebec, Canada, climbed to the top of a ladder and then retrieved the contract to secure an International Championship shot.
