Swerve Strickland Returns On AEW Dynamite, Confronts Adam Page & Brodido
Swerve Strickland is back.
Strickland’s lengthy absence from the company came to an end on the August 12 episode of AEW Dynamite, as he interrupted a promo from ‘Hangman’ Adam Page, Brody King, and Bandido. In a smug manner, Strickland immediately criticized the group for bonding together over their history with him.
As the segment continued, Page responded and taunted Strickland for not having anything to show for the heinous acts that he has committed throughout the year. The promo was then interrupted by Ricochet, Toa Liona, Kaun, Jay Lethal, Blake Christian, and Lee Johnson.
Ricochet eventually convinced Swerve Strickland to leave the ring. The trio of Bandido, Page, and King agreed to defend their AEW World Trios Championships against The Demand in the future as the segment came to an end.
Hangman Adam Page was full of confidence and ready to speak, but the returning @swerveconfident had other plans!

This is Strickland’s first appearance in AEW since losing to Will Ospreay in the finals of the 2026 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament at Forbidden Door.
