Foley is one of the more iconic wrestlers of the past 35 years, having a pivotal role in the Attitude Era in WWE as well as the Monday Night Wars, where his WWE title win would prove to be a turning point in the WWE-WCW rivalry. Now, a fellow WWE Hall Of Famer has praised Foley.

While speaking to the Wrestleholics podcast in a new interview, Ted Dibiase Sr was asked about a joke Mick Foley previously made about the two of them getting back in the ring for a certain price, with Ted noting his admiration for Foley.

“I think we’ll let that go. But hey, Mick, I love Mick. Mick was one of a kind and he’s a guy who I really admire because he’s one of those guys… there’s a lot of guys and don’t get me wrong, I’m not knocking any of the new guys that are up in there, but Mick I look at and I look at him like a peer of mine because he has the same understanding of the psychology of pro wrestling that I do and a lot of that he got from because he was a big fan of a guy who was- not only a fan, but like a big brother to me, that was Terry Funk.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Ted spoke about the lack of Kayfabe in modern day wrestling. You can read more about that here.
