The Godfather Says He Introduced Undertaker To The American Badass Lifestyle

The Godfather comments on his bond with The Undertaker.

He and The Undertaker were both part of the backstage Bone Street Krew group. Both wrestlers have told stories about each other in numerous interviews.

Speaking with Sportshadow Wrestling, The Godfather was asked to talk about his friendship with The Deadman.

“I met Mark like in ‘88. We became a tag team called Death Express in the Mid-South with Jerry Lawler in Memphis. We became really good friends. When I met Taker, he didn’t ride. First of all, when I met Taker, he didn’t drink Jack Daniels. That’s for me. When I met Taker, he didn’t listen to country music. That’s for me. When I met him, he had no tattoos. You’ll see pictures of him getting his first tattoo, and you’ll see me behind him like this. Most importantly, he didn’t ride a Harley. That’s for me. What I tell people about, because Taker will tell you, he’s like, ‘Dude, all the American Badass is this dude over here talking about me.’ But all I tell people about Taker is I just introduced him to a new way of life, and he took to it real well.”

In another interview, Godfather explained the origin of his character. Fans can read his comments here
