Three Title Matches Added To 8/14 WWE SmackDown

Additions to next week’s WWE SmackDown.

At WWE SummerSlam, Baron Corbin managed to pull off an upset against Trick Williams when he defeated him to win the United States Title. They had a rematch on this week’s WWE SmackDown (August 7), which ended with Corbin retaining. Later, in a backstage segment, Corbin was attacked by Carmelo Hayes. Hayes later informed him that he had talked to Nick Aldis, and they will have a title match next week on SmackDown.

Tiffany Stratton also offered a Women’s US Title match to Jacy Jayne in exchange for Fatal Influence giving her and Chelsea Green a Women’s Tag Team Title.

A WWE Tag Team Title match pitting R-Truth and Damian Priest against War Raiders and the MFT was also announced.
