Thunder Rosa: I Think The Characters In AEW Are Completely Edgy In Comparison To Other Places

Thunder Rosa speaks about the characters in AEW and the difference between them and characters in other wrestling companies.

All Elite Wrestling has been a company that has produced content with a TV-14 age rating since it’s inception back in 2019, leading to the company having more room for edgy and adult storylines compared to other companies in the industry like WWE, who produce a PG product. In particular, women’s wrestling has had the opportunity to be just as brutal as men’s matches in the company. One woman who is more than aware of that is Thunder Rosa, who is no stranger to stipulation matches in All Elite Wrestling.

While speaking to The Rockin’ Ride Home in a new interview ahead of Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, Rosa would speak about what sets AEW apart from other companies.

“I just think the characters are completely edgy in comparison to other places, and also the level of wrestling is completely different than other places.”

Later on in the interview, Rosa would be asked if she reconsiders what she is doing when she competes in hardcore matches.

“Yeah, absolutely. But then I think about, okay… let’s make this memorable. So it means something not only for me, for my partner, but also for the story and what we’re trying to tell.”
