Tommy Dreamer Looks Back Fondly On Working With AJ Francis In TNA: “I’m Just Like, ‘I Did My Job With That Guy'”

AJ Francis was one of the talents Dreamer spoke about.

Following his exit from TNA Wrestling, former co-Head of Creative Tommy Dreamer took to Busted Open to further speak about his time with the promotion.

One of the talents Dreamer spoke about was AJ Francis, and here’s what he had to say:

“At times, the internet loves him. At times, the internet hates him — AJ Francis, man. I was just like, ‘I’m gonna prove to the world that you can wrestle, and just shut up and you gotta trust me,’ and at one point, people are saying, ‘A.J. Francis should be world champion,’ and I’m just like, ‘I did my job with that guy.’”

Francis is scheduled to be in action at TNA’s 2026 Slammiversary pay-per-view in a singles match against Elijah.
