Tomohiro Ishii Unable To Compete, Dangerous Tekkers Set For 2026 NJPW World Tag League

Dangerous Tekkers are reunited once again.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling will be kicking off the 2026 World Tag League tournament on November 23rd. The teams and blocks have been unveiled.

In the B block, it was advertised that Taichi’s partner had not been decided. Zack Sabre Jr. has since announced that he’ll be reuniting with Taichi to reform Dangerous Tekkers, and they’ll compete in the tournament.

After the November 6th Dradition Pro-Wrestling show, Sabre Jr. spoke to reporters and shared that Tomohiro Ishii is unable to compete in the tournament, so he’s filling in. Sabre Jr. and Taichi are three-time IWGP Tag Team Champions.

Ishii has not wrestled since February 2026. It was announced that he was sidelined with a neck injury. Back in June, he appeared in a backstage segment in AEW alongside The Conglomeration.
