Tony Khan confirms that if he had been asked, he would have supported Adam Copeland appearing during John Cena’s Farewell Tour.
In 2025, John Cena would go through his farewell tour in the world of professional wrestling and WWE, facing off with several old rivals in AJ Styles, Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar across the year. Recently, Adam Copeland noted his belief that Tony Khan would have supported him appearing as part of Cena’s retirement tour, with Tony now publicly commenting on that.
While speaking to Metro’s Alistair McGeorge in a new interview, Tony Khan confirmed that if he had been asked, he would have approved Copeland appearing as part of Cena’s farewell tour.
“I was never asked, and as far as I know, Adam was never asked, so it’s hard to say. But when there have been opportunities to collaborate, I have been collaborative in the past, I never got asked, but if I had been presented a plan and the dates and the information of what was going on, yeah, I would have supported it. But nobody ever asked us or me.”
