Tony Khan ‘Very Intrigued’ By Possibility of KAIRI Appearing In AEW

The possibility of KAIRI appearing in AEW intrigues Tony Khan.

Coming out of the AEW WrestleDream pay-per-view, company President Tony Khan fielded questions from the media during the post-event media scrum.

One of the questions posed to Khan had to do with the possibility of KAIRI, a.k.a. Kairi Sane, appearing in AEW.

“She’s a fantastic wrestler. I can’t speak to that at this time but I am very aware and excited to see that she’s a free agent. I think that that’s very, very interesting, and I’m very intrigued by the possibility of that.”

Fightful Select provided the following about KAIRI and AEW:

“Kairi has still not been signed as of this weekend. Light discussions have continued, and there is heavy interest in Japan that is being held up by the AEW talks.”
