Travis Williams Recounts Cruz Montana & Steve Maclin Supporting Him & Judas Icarus In TNA

Travis Williams shows love for Steve Maclin and Cruz Montana.

The September 30th recording of In The Weeds with Jeremy Lambert and Sid Pullar III featured a chat with Sinner and Saint (Judas Icarus & Travis Williams).

The duo looked back on their time with TNA Wrestling, and Williams recounted how Steve Maclin and Cruz Montana, f.k.a. Mike Santana, supported him and Icarus when they felt they were not getting opportunities within the promotion.

“There was a time when, you know, maybe we were doubting ourselves and we weren’t getting — maybe the opportunities or just the chances that we would have liked to been given. It was nice to have guys like Steve Maclin and (Mike) Santana backing us… and even shaking our own cobwebs out of our own heads, as far as, ‘I know these guys have it,’ and then that was just reassurance for us to be like, ‘We gotta prove these guys right.’ Especially if the best in the entire industry are backing you, that lights a fire under you for sure…”

Over the summer of 2026, Icarus and Williams requested their release from TNA, and it was granted.
