Trick Williams On The Gingerbread Man Storyline: The Office Seems To Let Me Do My Own Thing And In That Case, It Paid Off

Trick Williams comments on his gingerbread man storyline alongside Sami Zayn, noting that the office lets him do his own thing.

Earlier this year during a program with Sami Zayn around the United States Championship, Trick would label Zayn a Gingerbread Man, leading to an actual Gingerbread man appearing on screen, with Sami disguising himself in the suit before the ‘character’ was killed off, resulting in a funeral segment where Lil Yachty would also appear in the suit.

While speaking to the Italian Wrestling Channel in a new interview, Trick Williams was asked about the storyline, noting that he is grateful that the office allows him to do his own thing with storylines.

“The thing is when Trick Willie’s mind gets the rolling and spinning and everything like that, sometimes I get carried away and everybody in the office seems to let me do my thing. So it’s greatly appreciated. Shout out to Triple H, shout out to Nick Khan, just letting Trick Willie do the Trick Willie things that he’s able to do, and, you know, in that case, it paid off.”
