Trick Williams To Defend United States Title Against Baron Corbin At WWE SummerSlam
Trick Williams will defend his WWE United States Championship against Baron Corbin at SummerSlam.
A few weeks earlier, on July 10, Baron Corbin made his return to WWE. He attacked Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes that night.
On this week’s SmackDown (July 24), Williams participated in a fatal 4-way match, which also included Royce Keys, Damian Priest, and Finn Balor to determine Sami Zayn’s opponent in a No. 1 Contender’s match for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam.

After the show ended, Williams was attacked by Corbin once again. This led to him challenging Corbin to a US Title match at SummerSlam.
