Vic Joseph Reacts To Blind Fan Praising His Radio Play-By-Play
A new addition to WWE has been live commentary to WWE Premium Live Events courtesy of Vic Joseph and Booker T.
The two called the action for Night One of WWE SummerSlam, and will be back on the call for Night Two.
A blind fan praised Joseph for his in-depth commentary, writing, “As someone who is 100% blind, I fell in love with wrestling because of Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler-they described everything so well you didn’t need vision. I haven’t felt that level of inclusivity until tonight. Vic Joseph did an incredible job; for the first time since 2008, I didn’t have to guess a single detail. For instance, when Cole went quiet during Punk’s walkout, Vic made sure I knew what was happening, what he was wearing, and where he was. I know some fans aren’t happy with the format change, but for the blind community, it’s a total game-changer. & I’m overwhelmed and completely in love with wrestling all over again.”
