Will Ospreay Recalls Being Kicked Out Of Wrestling School As A Teenager For Doing Backyard Wrestling

Will Ospreay recalls being kicked out of Dropkixx Wrestling academy in London for continuing to backyard wrestle.

Ospreay has always been vocal about the early days of his wrestling career and honing his craft in backyard wrestling matches, which many wrestlers have told similar stories in how they began the early years of their careers as pro wrestlers. Now he has spoken of an incident where it would create a momentary roadblock in his pro wrestling training.

While speaking to MuscleAndFitness.com in a new interview, Will Ospreay shared how he was actually kicked out of Dropkixx Wrestling Academy as a teenager due to his penchant for backyard wrestling. Ospreay would even agree that he would have kicked him out if it was his decision.

“Because I was doing some backyard wrestling outside the facility while they were training, Honestly, looking back now, I would have kicked me out too.”
