Yota Tsuji vs. Oleg Boltin vs. Kenny Omega Made Official, Jon Moxley & Wheeler Yuta Added To NJPW Power Struggle

Oleg Boltin, Kenny Omega, and Yota Tsuji to meet in a three-way.

After Yota Tsuji’s successful defense of the IWGP Heavyweight Championship at NJPW King of Pro-Wrestling, a video message aired from former IWGP Heavyweight and AEW World Champion Kenny Omega.

Omega put Tsuji on notice, and then after Omega’s video ended, Oleg Boltin showed up to confront Tsuji. As they were face-to-face, Omega made a surprise appearance and attacked both Boltin and Tsuji. In his backstage comments, Omega went on to propose a three-way for NJPW Power Struggle on November 3rd and stated that if he won, he would get a shot at Tsuji’s IWGP Heavyweight Championship. That match has been made official.

Also at King of Pro-Wrestling, a video message aired from AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley after a match in which Shingo Takagi had been mocking him. Takagi has been calling out Moxley since defeating Claudio Castagnoli on the Destruction tour.

It is now official that Moxley will be in action at Power Struggle as he’ll be teaming with fellow Death Riders member Wheeler Yuta to take on Takagi and Jeff Cobb.

Below is the updated card for Power Struggle:

  • IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship: Gabe Kidd (c) vs. Taichi
  • Three-Way Match: Kenny Omega vs. Yota Tsuji vs. Oleg Boltin (If Omega wins, he gets an IWGP Heavyweight Title shot)

  • Unbound Co. (Jeff Cobb & Shingo Takagi) vs. Death Riders (Jon Moxley & Wheeler Yuta)
