Yuya Uemura vs. Ryohei Oiwa Set For NJPW G1 Climax 36 Final

Yuya Uemura versus Ryohei Oiwa.

Following the August 15th New Japan Pro-Wrestling G1 Climax 36 semifinals show, the tournament finals were set.

Ryohei Oiwa bested Callum Newman to secure his place in the final. In the following match, Yuya Uemura bested IWGP Heavyweight Champion Yota Tsuji to secure his spot in the final.

After Uemura’s victory, Oiwa came out to the ring to confront his opponent for the main event of the August 16th show.

Uemura and Oiwa have only had one singles match, and it was in the G1 Climax 35 tournament, during which Uemura got the victory.
