Bianca Belair And Jade Cargill To Challenge Kabuki Warriors For WWE Women's Tag Titles At WWE Backlash 2024

-Representing The Bloodline, Sami Zayn and Solo Sikoa formed a winning team on Friday. They defeated Ricochet and Madcap Moss on Friday. Sikoa put the exclamation point on the win by attacking Moss after the match.

- Jey Uso gave Zayn a stern warning backstage by telling "The Honorary Uce" that he sees right through him and threating that he would "get" Zayn if he put the family in jeopardy.

- The show closed with another successful team-up, as Drew McIntyre joined forces with Kevin Owens and Johnny Gargano to defeat Theory and Alpha Academy (Otis and Chad Gable). Earlier in the night, Gargano and Owens saved McIntyre from the latter trio when they beat up him after his match with Theory.

- After the match, McIntyre whipped Theory with a strap to send a message to Karrion Kros.s.

- Karrion Kross previewed his looming Strap Match against Drew McIntyre, and he promised to take the former WWE Champion to a point of no return.

- Ronda Rousey picked up some momentum by defeating Natalya in a non-title match. After the bout, she brawled with SmackDown Women's Champion Liv Morgan.

- Hit Row (Ashante "Thee" Adonis and Top Dolla) picked up another victory; this time, they beat Los Lotharios (Angel and Humberto).

- Ronda Rousey previewed her upcoming Extreme Rules Match against Liv Morgan and claimed that she's the most dangerous woman on the planet without any weapons.

- Kevin Owens bumped into Sami Zayn and told him that he needs a new shirt.

- Sheamus confronted Imperium by himself, as Ridge Holland and Butch were stuck in Florida due to Hurricane Ian. The trio ganged up on "The Celtic Warrior", but he proved that he wasn't easy to put down.

- Shotzi got her tank back ahead of her match against Bayley.

- Bayley won the bout, but Raw Women's Champion Bianca Belair came to Shotzi's aid when "The Role Model" attacked her after the bell.

- Another QR code, along with a sign in the crowd, offered plenty of clues about the White Rabbit.

- Max Dupri turned on the Maximum Male Models and made it clear that "he'd had enough.

- WWE commented on the passing of Antonio Inoki.

- WWE also expressed its support of the American Red Cross and its relief efforts for those impacted by Hurricane Ian.

- In a WWE Digital Exclusive, Liv Morgan vowed to make Ronda Rousey respect her when they clash at WWE Extreme Rules.

- After their succesful team-up, Johnny Gargano pointed out that he and Drew McIntyre were also a winning duo in the past. Years ago, they held the tag team titles in EVOLVE.

AEW Rampage

- The Trustbusters are seemingly trying to recruit FTW Champion HOOK. The group came to the stage and left him an envelope with his name on it. The fan-favorite star picked it up on his way to the back.

- Before HOOK took the envelope, he beat up Ryan Nemeth and choked him out.

- The Acclaimed (Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) kicked off AEW Rampage with a successfull title defense. They retained their AEW World Tag Team Championship against The Butcher and The Blade and Private Party in a three-way match.

- Austin and Colten Gunn, alongside Stokely Hathaway, mocked FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) and stated that they're going to leapfrog in the chase tp earn a shot at the tag titles.

- Thanks to a timely assist from Britt Baker, Jamie Hayer defeated Willow Nightingale in a hard-fought match.

- Representing The Firm, Lee Moriarty picked up an impressive win against Fuego Del Sol on Friday. W. Morrissey added insult to injury by chokeslamming Fuego after the bell.

- Andrade El Idolo challenhed 10 to a match where, if the powerhouse loses, he must give his mask to El Idolo. 10 accepted but proposed his own stipulation; if Andrade loses, he must leave AEW for good.

- TBS Champion Jade Cargill claimed that she hasn't been getting any real competiton, and Nyla Rose interrupted her, setting the stage for a clash between the two.

- In the main event, RUSH defeated John Silver, despite a valiant effort from the Dark Order member.

- After the main event, Hangman Page made the save when Andrade and RUSH attacked Silver and Alex Reynolds.

- Hangman Page and Jon Moxey discussed their upcoming title match. The AEW World Champion noted that Page might be the future, but he's the future. Page discussed the way the crowd's support fires him up, only to realize that the bout will be in Moxley's hometown of Cincinnati.

- WardJoe (Wardlow and Samoa Joe) commented on their alliance and claimed that, together, their power is limitless.

- Anthony Bowens announced that The Acclaimed have a new move, fitting named "Scissor Me Timbers."

- PAC will defend the AEW All-Atlantic Championship at AEW Battle of the Belts IV.

- Swerve Strickland was a guest at Rolling Loud, but he remains frustrated that The Acclaimed won the AEW World Tag Team Championship from Swerve in our Glory (Strickland and Keith Lee.)
