2 Out Of 3 Falls Match For Women’s World Title Made Official, Místico Competing In Trios Title Bout Set For AEW Revolution

New additions to the PPV card.

Thekla bested Kris Statlander in a Strap match to become the new AEW Women’s World Champion. On the 3/4 Dynamite, Thekla scored a win over Thunder Rosa to retain the title, and post-match, Statlander hit the ring to stop Triangle of Madness (Thekla, Julia Hart & Skye Blue) from ganging up on Rosa.

It has since been made official that at AEW Revolution on March 15th, Statlander and Thekla will meet in a two-out-of-three falls match for the Women’s World Championship.

Also joining the Revolution card is a World Trios Titles bout. Kevin Knight, Hangman Adam Page, and ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey dropped the titles to Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher, and Mark Davis in the main event of Dynamite. The AEW World Champion and Hangman’s opponent at Revolution, MJF, cost Page and JetSpeed the belts.

There will be a rematch at Revolution, and CMLL’s Místico will team with JetSpeed.

Below is the updated Revolution card from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California:

  •  AEW World Championship — Texas Deathmatch: MJF (c) vs. Hangman Adam Page (If Page loses, he can never challenge for the AEW World Title again)
  • AEW World Tag Team Championship: FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) (c) (w/ Big Stoke) vs. The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson)
  • AEW Continental Championship — No Time Limit Match: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Konosuke Takeshita
  • Andrade El Idolo vs. Bandido
  • Brody King vs. Swerve Strickland
  • AEW Women’s World Championship — 2 out of 3 Falls Match: Thekla (c) vs. Kris Statlander
  • AEW World Trios Championship: Don Callis Family (Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis) (c) vs. Místico, Kevin Knight & ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey
