On Wednesday, The WWE Games account changed it's profile picture to a logo for WWE 2K24.
The profile updated its bio to read, "More to come 1.22.24 -- #WWE2K24."

On January 23, 2023, WWE Games announced John Cena as the cover athlete for WWE 2K23. The game was released on March 14, 2023.
