Ricochet Says He Pulls From The Joker For His Character In AEW
Ricochet takes inspiration from The Joker.
Since arriving to AEW in 2024, Ricochet has spent the majority of his time playing a heel character. If you’ve noticed a sense of chaos in his persona, that’s entirely intentional.
In a new interview with Sports Illustrated, the former AEW National Champion explained that he looks to The Joker for his character inspiration in AEW.
“The Joker, who obviously thrives in chaos, is somebody I take a lot of inspiration from. Because Ricochet in AEW just likes to cause chaos. Whether that leads to something or not, he just wants to cause chaos. So that’s something I connect with… There’s a method behind his madness, and that’s also something I pull from.”
Ricochet last wrestled on October 17, competing in the Clockwork Carnage match at AEW WrestleDream.
