A Theory That Peter Parker’s Spidey Senses Didn’t Kick In Against Bonesaw Because Wrestling Is Fake

The Human Spider (aka Spider-Man) famously competed in a cage match against Bonesaw McGraw for $3,000.

Despite being undersized, Spider-Man was able to use his technical abilities to win the match.

Though he was victorious, his spidey senses didn’t kick in until he had already been clocked.

On the Confused Breakfast podcast, it was theorized that the spider senses didn’t tingle because he thought wrestling was fake, but they began to work when he was hit and learned that wrestling was real.

Bonesaw McGraw was played by “Macho Man” Randy Savage.
