During the bout, House of Torture got involved, pulling the referee out of the ring and attacking Wolf. Wolf would throw the HOT members as they entered the ring, but the numbers caught up and Don Fale splashed Wolf through a table during the attack.
Wolf embraced the young lion role, revealing his shaved head and black trunks as he made his entrance.
Wolf won a gold medal at the 2017 World Championships in Budapest and a gold medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics in judo.
This marks the first reign as NEVER Openweight Champion for Wolf. EVIL held the title for 83 days. He made zero successful title defenses.
