Ken Shamrock is out and Ace Austin is in.
IMPACT announced that Shamrock won't be competing in the tournament to crown a No. 1 contender to the IMPACT World Title as a result of Michael Elgin's attack on him. Replacing Shamrock in the tournament is Austin, who will take on Rhino in the first round on the May 19 episode of IMPACT.

IMPACT also had several matches for the May 19 episode of IMPACT Wrestling:
* Willie Mack will defend his X-Division Championship against Johnny Swinger, who has been angling for a title shot ever since IMPACT Rebellion when Mack defeated Ace Austin to capture the championship.
* Michael Elgin battles Sami Callihan in a first-round match in the IMPACT Title Number One Contender Tournament. The winner will move on to face Trey in the semi-finals.
* Austin vs. Rhino in a first-round match in the IMPACT Title Number One Contender Tournament. The winner will move on to face Hernandez in the semi-finals.
* XXL (Larry D & Acey Romero) take on TJP & Fallah Bahh with the winning team potentially securing a IMPACT Tag Team Title match against The North (Josh Alexander & Ethan Page)
