Adam Cole: CM Punk Has Been Nothing But Kind To Me In Our Few Interactions

Adam Cole is asked about CM Punk in AEW.

CM Punk has drawn headlines over the past year for his comments regarding certain members of the AEW roster, but even when he was taking aim Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, and Hangman Page during his AEW All Out 2022 media scrum, he still wished Adam Cole all the best as Cole was recovering from a concussion.

Speaking on the Pro Wrestling Illustrated podcast, Cole was asked about his relationship with Punk.

"I've had a few interactions with him, and he has always been nothing but kind to me. Obviously, when he first came to AEW, it was a big deal for us and brought a lot of eyes and attention on the company. AEW has been on this crazy uphill swing for the past few years since I've arrived and that's pretty cool," he said.

Punk joined AEW in August 2021, a month before Cole, who first appeared at AEW All Out 2021.

Both Cole and Punk are set to be part of AEW All In as Cole headlines the event, challenging MJF for the AEW World Title. Punk will defend the "Real" AEW World Title against Samoa Joe.
