Adam Cole is ill.
Tony Khan announced that Adam Cole has not been cleared for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door due to illness. Cole was scheduled to face Tom Lawlor, but the bout has now been canceled.
It is unknown if Lawlor will remain on the show in some capacity.
Due to illness, @AdamColePro isn't cleared tonight, therefore the Adam Cole vs @FilthyTomLawlor match is canceled.

The bout between Lawlor and Cole was set up on the June 23 episode of AEW Rampage when MJF told Cole that he got him a match on Forbidden Door. Lawlor, along with Royce Isaacs attacked Cole from behind. MJF, who is teaming with Cole in the Blind Eliminator Tournament, made a very slow and late save.
