Adam Cole Not Cleared To Compete At AEW All In, TNT Title To Be Vacated
Adam Cole is unable to compete at AEW All In and the AEW TNT Championship has been vacated.
Tony Khan announced on social media that he cannot medically clear Cole to compete at AEW All In. He was scheduled to defend the title against Kyle Fletcher.
Tony said that he is asking Cole to take time away to make sure he’s cleared.
The AEW TNT Championship will still be up for grabs as Fletcher, Daniel Garcia, Sammy Guevara, and Dustin Rhodes will square-off in a four-way match for the vacant title.
Cole’s status and the replacement match was confirmed and also announced by Renee Paquette during the AEW All In Zero Hour pre-show.
Cole last wrestled on the July 10th episode of AEW Collision, teaming with his Paragon running mates Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong to defeat The Don Callis Family (Kyle Fletcher, Rocky Romero & Trent Beretta).
Adam Cole held the AEW TNT Title for 97 days and three successful title defenses.
Fightful will provide more information on Cole’s status when it is known. We wish him the best in his recovery.
