The Devil is revealed.

Adam Cole was revealed as The Devil at AEW Worlds End, inflicting further damage to MJF after he lost the AEW World Title.

Cole was joined by The Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennet), Roderick Strong, and Wardlow.

Cole returned ahead of MJF's match against Samoa Joe to corner him for the bout. After losing, the masked men jumped MJF and Cole. Cole begged the masked men to hit him when the lights went out.

When they came back on, Cole was sitting in the chair and held up the Devil mask. The masked men revealed themselves and continued the attack on MJF.

Cole established a friendship with MJF during the summer, much to the dismay of Roderick Strong. He has been sidelined since AEW Dynamite Grand Slam when he suffered an ankle injury. Strong got support from Taven & Bennett, and constantly accused MJF of being the Devil. Wardlow has been targeting MJF since he returned to television in October.

The Devil first appeared on the September 27 episode of AEW Dynamite, attacking Jay White alongside four other men. MJF stated that he was not the Devil and his mask had been stolen. The Devil and his men would go on to attack The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens), Billy Gunn, and Hangman Page. He allegedly attacked MJF, but was never seen.

On Wednesday's AEW Dynamite, two of the Devil's masked men won the ROH Tag Team Championships, pinning MJF in what turned out to be a handicap match after Joe faked an injury. It was later revealed that Joe had been working with the Devil.
