Adam Cole Wants To Wrestle Seth Rollins, Calls Him One Of The Best In The World

NXT Champion Adam Cole has faced a laundry list of top wrestlers throughout his career. But one man he has never battled in singles competition is current WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins. If Cole has his way, that will change at some point.

"I normally say AJ Styles, but I've worked with AJ before. So I don't want to pick someone I've worked with," Cole told Lilian Garcia on Chasing Glory when asked who he would like to face from Raw or SmackDown. "The guy I really want to wrestle that I've never worked with before is Seth Rollins. He had his farewell match the day I got signed in Ring of Honor. So we just missed each other. He's fantastic now, he's been fantastic for years. I love his mentality on wrestling. Twitter very much wants this match to happen. We talk. Not extensively but anytime we're in the same locker room, we'll chat for a little bit. He's been very complimentary of me as well. He's absolutely one of the best in the world."

Cole wrestled his first match in ROH on Feb. 28, 2009 but didn't start full-time with the promotion until October 2010. Rollins stuck around ROH until September 2010 before joining WWE.

Elsewhere on the podcast, Cole discussed his relationship with Shawn Michaels. You can view his comments by clicking here.
